Happy Halloween! I can barely believe that tonight is the last day of October, but I'm excited to use this little holiday as an excuse to eat way too much candy, watch The Shining, and roast pumpkin seeds, and drink seasonal beer. Yep! It's going to be a super productive weekend...or not, that's okay too.

Have a safe and fun weekend!

Bring Your Desk to Work Day

Standing height desks have become hugely popularized in the work place and have staying power because of their flexibility. The company Refold has created a collapsable, affordable, and portable desk made of 7mm cardboard. The true beauty in this design is that at 14 pounds, the entire desk is made of recyclable material and when assembled can support the full body weight of an adult.

The group has kickstarter right now that you can check out here

Imagine this being your 'welcome home' at the end of a long day. It seems too good to be true but these views and gorgeous interiors come from the new luxury residential building of 432 Park Avenue. The interiors, designed by Deborah Burke, deliver sleek, modern, and truly dreamy spaces to call home with views that almost top them.

Oakland / SF artist Heather Day is on the rise. Her Modern abstract paintings are beautifully layered and have the most insane color combinations. Her Instagram is one to watch, as is her artwork.

This week seemed to really drag by and was filled with a general feeling of ennui, don't you agree? I'm happy that it's the weekend (or at least in about 9 hours it will be) and I'm looking forward to a relaxing day brunching and shopping with my parents and grabbing drinks with my girl friends at Marvel Bar. What are you fun plans this weekend?

How gorgeous are these ceramic centerpieces designed by Benjamin Hubert for Bitossi? The collection is called "Seams" and is titled after the process of breaking molds and reusing them for the creation of the pieces.
