Kale Chips

 Okay so this isn't much of a 'recipe' perse - but since it's one of my go-to snacks I thought I'd share. Kale has had quite a peak in popularity in recent years and reasonably so, it's filled with nutrients and is just an all around great food to add to your diet. The options with this leafy green wonderfulness are endless, but my favorite way to snack on it is in 'chip' form. 

INGREDIENTS {you don't need much}: 

Kale {in your desired amount - I usually do about two or three large handfuls for one}
Olive Oil
Sea Salt {or other desired seasoning}


- Preheat oven to 425
- Remove the 'stems' of the kale if you get it fresh in bunches. You just want the real leafy tops.
- Remove moisture by tossing in a salad spinner or patting with paper towels
- Toss in olive oil {for 16 oz of kale use 2 tbs. For just a few handfuls a drizzle will do}
- Line baking pan with tin foil or parchment paper and cover with a even layer of kale
- Bake for 10-15 until kale has darkened
- Sprinkle with sea salt {or if you're feeling spicy, use cayenne pepper!}
